I am using the pro version and it isn't detecting magisk as either su manager or su executable. It only verifies I have root. As a Unix admin of 20 years experience I know what I'm talking about. I have used terminal emulator to verify manually
bacon:/ $ su -
bacon:/ # which su
/sbin/su
bacon:/ # ls -l /sbin/su
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 20 2017-05-09 07:59 /sbin/su -> /magisk/.core/bin/su
bacon:/ # ls -l /magisk/.core/bin/su
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 373564 2017-05-08 11:56 /magisk/.core/bin/su
bacon:/ #
